Kindergarten is a full-day program that runs from 8:25 - 3:00. The morning sessions concentrates on Religion, Reading, Math and Phonics. During the afternoon the children have small group instruction as well as Social Studies and Science activities. All activities are hands-on. Children also participate in Music, Phys. Ed., and computer classes.
The Kindergarten teacher is Mrs. Maggie Perez.
Children will learn these things:
Religion: God made all things and God gives us light, water, land, and animals.
Reading: Themes: All about Me and All about My Family
Writing: Printing names and letters correctly
Math: Numbers 1 - 20, greater and less than. Also comparing number and matching numbers to quantities.
Science: Weather changes
Projects: Learn how to use I-Station program
