Ms. Maureen Lynch is the eighth grade homeroom teacher. In the third marking period eighth graders will be studying the following topics:
Religion: Church History--Middle Ages ; Confirmation Preparation; Second Step Program
Math: Geometry; solving equations and inequalities (taught by Mrs. Torres)
Grammar: Adverbs, adjectives, participles, gerunds
Writing: Expository writing. Poetry--limericks, cinquains, lyric poetry
Literature: Collection: Tales of Strange and Mysterious
Social Studies: George Washington to the Civil War (taught by Ms. Moser)
Science: Earthquakes, volcanoes, rocks and minerals
Project: Earth Day Preparation
